Constructing Excellence in Essex

Article Date: 20/04/2009

Essex has the highest concentration of construction companies but as there had never been a club in the county, no-one has been able to take advantage of what Constructing Excellence can offer.

The team at CW Construction Ltd decided to address this issue by launching the Essex Constructing Excellence Club on 30th January 2009 at the Essex Records Office sponsored, by Essex County Council. For those companies that missed the launch, membership forms can be obtained by calling Val or Gary, or by registering at reg@cw-construction.co.uk

The first event was held on the 20th March 2009 at The Gateway Academy in Tilbury, the subject being the new construction diploma and skills training in the construction industry. It is supported by Constructing Excellence in Essex, the CBED partnership and Construction Skills.

The second and third events will be announced shortly and will be encompass the subjects of Procurement and Sustainability in the construction industry.

Constructing Excellence concentrates on four core values, Sustainability, Collaborative Working, Values, Leadership and People and the new club will enable members to tap into the latest news and innovations to keep one step ahead of the crowd.
