The State of London Debate

Wednesday 25 June at Central Hall Westminster

On 1 May 2008, London elected Boris Johnson as Mayor of London. This year’s debate, the first with the new Mayor, will focus on one of the most important issues facing the capital – how to increase opportunities for young Londoners and help young people share in the city’s success.

Company Director, East Londoner, Carolyn Walsh, and Construction Manager, Gary Sharpe, have been invited to take part in this debate, and both actively support the Mayor’s desire to bridge the gap between street and boardroom.

One topic on the agenda will be the Olympic Development, and we will be heavily involved in ensuring that the Olympic Games become a springboard enabling young Londoners to secure life long careers in construction.
